Izakaya Lounge Menu
Izakaya Lounge is the newest addition to Chester’s social scene, combining delicious pan-Asian cuisine, drinks and good company, Izakaya Lounge should be the next place you visit in Chester! The name Izakaya is a word made up of ‘Stay-drink-place’ and designed to be a place to meet up, relax, eat and drink with friends and colleagues. Similar to a tapas bar or mezze bar, Izakaya incorporates the idea of slow dining and enjoying food and drink over a couple of hours.
The Izakaya menu is filled with an exciting range of pan-Asian dishes, sushi, small plates, large plates, delicious desserts and cool cocktails. As part of Izakaya’s social dining experience, dishes are brought out as and when they’re ready. While you wait for your first dishes to arrive you can snack on a choice of prawn crackers, edamame beans and lotus root crisps. Each section of Izakaya’s menu includes a range of vegetarian and vegan options.
- Small plates- Izakaya’s tasty range of small plates includes dishes such as crispy squid, oysters, chicken wings and gyozas.
- Sushi- Traditional Japanese sushi with a modern twist is available at Izakaya in a range of tasty options. The sushi rolls range from tofu to wasabi beef and spicy tuna.
- Large plates- For bigger appetites or a main meal, the range of large plates includes a range of curries, grilled fish and meat.
- Desserts- To finish your experience at Izakaya Lounge, enjoy a tasty choice of brulee, miso chocolate mouse or mini doughnuts.
If you’re visiting Izakaya Lounge for drinks, they also have a bottle menu available with high-end spirits, liqueurs and champagne available. Izakaya also hosts a range of exciting events including bottomless brunch with live DJs and comedy specials. Izakaya Lounge hosts weekly bottomless brunches which include sharing plates of the pan-Asian dishes and bottomless prosecco, selected beer bottles and signature cocktails. All while enjoying a live DJ set from Gedded and Gioia. Chester’s comedy festival is being hosted by Izakaya Lounge on Wednesday 21st July 2021. If you’re hoping to dine in a more private location, Izakaya lounge boasts the ability to host you and your party in either a private booth or in their private dining room. Private booths can be booked from 8pm until midnight on weekends, perfect for groups of friends catching up over drinks and dishes while listening to a live DJ set. The private dining room at Izakaya Lounge is available to book for up to 16 guests and includes floor to ceiling windows that lead out onto the private balcony. The private dining room is perfect for get togethers, birthdays, baby showers and even business events or training days.
